Thomas Sherman is an artist, printmaker, designer and photographer working in the traditional and foundational mediums of drawing, collage, printmaking, photography and assemblage as well as digital media and emerging media technologies.
Thomas Sherman was born in Detroit, Michigan and studied art at The College for Creative Studies (Detroit, MI) and earned his BFA from Montserrat College of Art (Beverly, MA). After graduating he moved to New York City where he worked as a creative director, designer, and photographer in digital media, design and advertising,
In 2017, he relocated to San Diego, California and established a studio practice to focus on fine arts, self-funded design initiatives and commissioned projects for arts and culture organizations.
